Nathan Garcia

Greetings Gamers, 

My name is Nate. I am one of the new Yugioh TCG Coaches. I primarily play advanced format but I played through edison format way back when and I have a special place in my heart for the Heart of the Underdog format. I have been playing TCG’s since 2010, specifically Yugioh and Pokemon. I didn’t play competitively until post COVID era as I only played casually in high school and took a break from the game throughout college and graduate school. 

I have experience with a wide variety of decks, archetypes and styles but I typically specialize in mid-range combo or combo decks and I’m most known for playing pendulum decks, spright decks, and more recently the fire decks. I recently got my US National Championship invitation with Pure Snake-Eye at the Houston WCQ Regional. Within Yugioh as a whole deck building is what I enjoy the most. Examining the “meta” and making creative tech calls based constantly tinkering with my deck lists is a process that never ends.
