Join us for an introduction to Magic. We have sample decks that we’ll use to cover how to play a game, how to build a deck, and what various formats are played at the shop. No existing experience or cards are required, so it’s a perfect place to start.

Hi! I’m Matt, and I’m one of the coaches for Magic. I primarily play draft and commander, and I love sharing this game with new players, which is what I want to focus on as a coach. I’m going to start with simple intro decks that teach the basics of the game, then look to build simple commander decks for building and eventually building a starter cube to teach players to draft. I’m hoping this can be a way for players to have an entry into the game, have fun while learning something new, and be ready to join in regular events.
