We have sample decks and can teach anyone to play their first game, understand core concepts, and have fun. No prior experience or cards are required, and we can start from square one if it’s your first foray or refresh you if you’ve been out of the game. You’ll learn all about lands, spells and fundamentals to get you ready to duel with friends at your next game night.

Hi! I’m Matt, and I’m one of the coaches for Magic. I primarily play draft and commander, and I love sharing this game with new players, which is what I want to focus on as a coach. I’m going to start with simple intro decks that teach the basics of the game, then look to build simple commander decks for building and eventually building a starter cube to teach players to draft. I’m hoping this can be a way for players to have an entry into the game, have fun while learning something new, and be ready to join in regular events.
